Privacy

There is no account and nothing to buy, so we hold almost nothing about you. This explains the three things that do exist: location, analytics, and our own visit counting.

The short version

There are no accounts and no sign-in, so we do not have your name, email address or phone number. We do not sell anything and we do not share data with advertisers.

There are exactly three things worth knowing: your location is used but not stored, we run analytics to count visits, and we keep counts of how the app is used.

Location

The app only reads your location if you turn the GPS button on. Browsers always ask for permission first, and refusing leaves everything working except distance sorting and the "gantries near you" feature — you can search by area or postal code instead.

When location is on, your coordinates are sent to our server so it can calculate distances and sort car parks by how near they are. That is what makes "nearest first" possible, and it is why this page cannot claim your location never leaves your browser.

Coordinates are used to answer that one request and are then discarded. They are not written to a database, not attached to a visitor record, and not stored as a location history.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which parts of the app are used and where visitors come from. It sets cookies and sends information such as the page viewed, an approximate region derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. Google processes this as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

We also count visits ourselves, on our own server, with no third party involved. This exists because ad blockers, Safari and Firefox block Google Analytics entirely, so those visitors would otherwise be invisible. Our own counts record the page viewed, a referrer hostname, a rough device and browser type, and a daily-rotating hash used to count distinct visits.

That hash is built from your IP address and user agent along with a random value that changes every day and is then discarded, so the identifier cannot be tied back to you afterwards — including by us. Your IP address itself is never stored.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, our own counting records nothing at all.

What we do not collect

No name, email address, phone number or payment details, because there is nothing to sign up for or buy. No location history. No advertising identifiers, and no data sold or shared with data brokers.

Third parties involved

These are the external services the app talks to, and why:

  • Google Analytics — visit counting and usage analysis.
  • LTA DataMall and data.gov.sg — the live ERP and car park data itself. These are server-to-server calls; your browser never contacts them directly.
  • OneMap — converting a postal code or an area name into coordinates when you search by text.
  • Your chosen hosting and browser vendors, which necessarily see the request like any website visit.

Your choices

Turn location off at any time with the GPS button, which stops the app reading your position immediately. Clear the app’s storage in your browser settings to remove the small preferences it saves, such as your chosen vehicle type and tab.

If your browser or an extension blocks Google Analytics, our own counting still works and cannot be blocked — but it records nothing when a Do Not Track signal is present.
